While the passion Robbie and Juliana share brings them closer, outside forces conspire to keep them apart. Robbie has to find a way out of his arranged marriage without causing strife; as well help Juliana when her memories start to return. Can they find happiness, or only more heartache? Will love overcome all?

ONLY FOR A KNIGHT is the long-awaited story of Robbie. Fans of Ms. Welfonder will remember Robbie from DEVIL IN A KILT, and will surely be pleased with his tale. Robbie is an interesting hero; he’s strong, sexy, and sure of what he wants. Juliana is a great heroine; even with her hazy memory, she tries to follow her heart. It’s fun to see characters from previous books as well. Even though ONLY FOR A KNIGHT is connected to DEVIL IN A KILT and BRIDE OF THE BEAST, it can stand alone for new readers.

While Ms. Welfonder’s story is structured to flow easily with a plot that will keep you turning pages quickly, I did find that part of the finale was a little too neatly done. It could have been used to add an extra dimension to the story. Even with that said, overall the story is one that historical fans will enjoy. Set in 1344 Scotland, ONLY FOR A KNIGHT is a book I highly recommend for those who enjoy sexy Scotsmen; and it's a wonderful tale of love.
