Tom is desperately in love with Kate and will do anything possible to stay with her, even turning his back on his pack. He knows that they were meant for each other and if that means he has to fight for her everyday of his life, he will. Tom and Kate think that things couldn't possibly get any worse only to find that they most certainly can. Now the Vegas wolf pack is involved and the surrogates for Tom's pack are ready to deliver but stuck in the Vegas area. Throw in the fact that Tom's ex-girlfriend is now in charge of his pack and out for vengeance in order to get him back. She is making trouble for Kate and just might kill her before it's over. Kate is in over her head in the politics of wolves and Tom may not be able to keep her safe this time.

TOUCH OF DARKNESS is the final chapter in the Thrall/Kate Reilly series. Kate and Tom may finally find the happiness that they have worked so desperately to obtain. This final chapter is filled with surprises and will keep you on edge. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and am saddened to see it end. Hopefully, Adams and Clamp will come up with a new equally enthralling series.
