Romance Suspense
While out for a bike ride in the
foothills of Santa Barbara, Jesse Blackburn and his
friend Isaac are struck by a hit and run driver and left
for dead. Isaac is killed, but Jesse survives with a
spinal cord injury. Now he wants revenge, and his fiance,
Evan Delaney, wants justice. Neither is a simple desire.
Evan and Jesse have no idea of the power of the person
they are dealing with, or the dark places their desire
will take them. As witnesses to the hit and run begin
dying off one by one, it is apparent no one can stop the
killer, least of all, Evan, who is next on the hit man's
list.
MISSION CANYON starts off slow with a lot of background
and history that builds the case against the hit and run
killer. Isaac's brother,Adam, and Jesse are still very
close friends and want nothing more than to see Isaac's
killer get his just due. What they do not realize is
that there is a bigger picture. As Evan's investigation
leads them closer and closer to the lead players, their
lives become more dangerous. And their love is tested.
Evan has been with Jesse through the horrible accident
but now he begins to doubt her reasons for staying with
him. He questions if she really adores him and wants to
marry him. He wonders if the heat of their steamy
lovemaking is the real deal. The only way to face their
demon's is to go to the root of the problem. To return
to Mission Canyon to find out the answers and see who
will walk away.
MISSION CANYON has many surprises and the ending is well
worth the wait.
