Romantic Suspense
Museum curator Jillian Talbot is a
psychic. Her gift is seeing into the past, and she
thinks that her talent is her own little secret until
she is kidnapped outside of work one day. The object is
to have her lead criminals to an ancient artifact, one
only a seer can see. It requires using an ancient
crystal lens that can unlock mysteries of the past. To
stay alive, Jillian must seek the help of a cynical tomb
raider, but is he worthy of her trust?
Simon Bonner wants out of the looting game, until the
crystal lands on his doorstep. As Jillian and Simon
track the mystery place into Mexico, their desire to
stay alive, as well as for each other, will make every
move more dangerous than the last.
OUT OF TIME is an action packed race against time.
Jillian believes that if she doesn't comply with Simon's
request to find the ancient artifacts, his ex wife
Celina will be dead. With her hands on the crystal lens,
her gift is magnified and Jillian must admit she is
intrigued. But at what expense? Her life? Simon's life?
Or Celina's? Many people seem to suddenly know about her
well kept secret and want to use her for their own
means. The race across Mexico forces Jillian and Simon
to face their own past demons as they confide in each
other. Body and soul, the attraction between the two are
hotter than the Mexican sun.
OUT OF TIME has a nice story line, great characters, and
a tidy ending. All good for a lazy weekend read.
