Ultimate Romance
This very talented author introduces
readers to Trinity Green, the best friend of a character
first introduced in a previous book, THE FORTUNE HUNTER.
Trinity, at least superficially, appears to be a perfect
rich daddy's girl. She has impulsively married a man
that she didn't know for long and one day comes home to
find him in the shower with another woman--a woman with
large breasts, which Trinity does not have.
Trinity develops some backbone and kicks him out, moving
herself to a motel for the night. When a handsome man
knocks on her door, admitting that he has heard her
through the walls, engaging in some solo intimate
behavior, and wants to watch, she lets him into her
room.
Scott is a forty something chief financial officer,
divorced with two girls in college. He has never done
anything out of the white bread relationship norm. Yet,
something about Trinity calls to his wild self and in
spite of their age difference, they begin a relationship
in which her true identity is a secret throughout much
of the relationship.
This is a really well done ultimate fiction. I always
salivate over any new book by Jasmine Hayes and she has
not disappointed with this latest offering. The most
fascinating part of the book is her careful examination
of both Trinity and Scott as they begin engaging in
behaviors out of the norm. Layered with Trinity's
complex relationship with her father, her entry into the
work world and associated personnel conflicts, and her
intense attraction to Scott are Scott's issues. As he
tries to reconcile his growing attachment to this woman
with his vow to never re-engage his heart in a
relationship, readers go along for the shifts and
changes experienced by the couple.
Can you tell I really, really loved this book? Don't
miss it; I guarantee a steamy, passionate novel that
will keep you up late at night.
