Lydia Denton is still mourning the loss of her Navy SEALs husband, Dave. Even after five years she can't quite accept things. However she's had to move on, she's had her son to care for. When she looks up in a bar and sees Dave or someone that looks strangely like him, she's shocked, amazed, and excited. Could Dave have been on a mission all these years? Is it possible Dave sent this man for her? Or is there something else altogether going on?

Soon Lydia and Finn find themselves in a relationship of sorts. The chemistry will not be denied between, even if Finn believes her son to be his long lost son, and Lydia is having trouble letting go of Dave. Lydia is starting to wonder if there is more to their relationship than she thought, while Finn is happy to enjoy things as they are. He can't love her.

However things aren't that simple. There is trouble brewing for them and they will soon face more than just their explosive feelings and hormones. Will Lydia find love with another military man? Has Finn finally found where he's meant to be?

VIKING UNCHAINED is an explosive read. Starting with page one and the opening scene. Readers will be pulled into the story and hard pressed to let it go until the final page is turned. Ms. Hill has written a story that will delight fans of all genres. There is a heart-moving story told within VIKING UNCHAINED. And I have to warn readers that while they will laugh themselves silly over some scenes there are a few, namely the final scene that will leave you with a tear in your eyes. Ms. Hill writes characters that quickly become real to you and leave you eager to read more and more about them. VIKING UNCHAINED is part of her Viking Series II, following HOT AND HEAVY, ROUGH AND READY, and DOWN AND DIRTY. Although there are recurring characters, each story can be read as a stand-alone. Just know that once you meet these great characters you'll eagerly devour all of Ms. Hill's backlist. I highly recommend VIKING UNCHAINED to all readers. Itʼs a keeper shelf read, one you'll pull out every time you want to laugh, smile and be touched all at the same time. Outstanding story and some very hot romance scenes, make VIKING UNCHAINED a not to be missed novel!
