Jesse Farrell works for the Palmetto County Sheriff's Department. He is a member of the gang task force unit. Even living in a small community, gang activity has risen. Jesse finds, he can't resist his pretty neighbor and after an encounter with some gang members, he is beaten, but he survives, only to go out again a few nights later. When he encounters the same gang again, he finds he is not alone. A wolf seems to have followed him, Jesse is glad for the protection the wolf gave him. When the wolf is shot, he takes it home with him to heal. He can't believe his eyes the next morning when he discovers who the wolf really is. Will Jesse run, or will he accept the truth?

LINE OF SIGHT is a wonderful, short story. The story line grabs you from the very beginning. Desiree Holt makes the characters come alive, and the attraction of the main characters is hot. This is a must read for any shape-shifter fan.
