Historical Romance

SURRENDER TO ME is the sequel to TOO WICKED TOO TAME by Sophie Jordan. Astrid Derring hoped her thieving husband, Bertram was dead, however after five years - he lives. Finding out that Bertram is indeed alive is not only a shock to Astrid, but also her closest friends. What is even more appalling than him leaving her without a dime is the fact that he is about to remarry under false pretenses. Not able to stomach the thought of him betraying her another, Astrid decides to confront him all the way in Scotland. Payback is all hers, so she thinks. Griffin Shaw is on a journey of his own that leads him to Scotland, which may prove to be more than he bargained for. Along the way, Astrid and Griffin will cross paths more than once which brings them closer than either is willing to admit.

SURRENDER TO ME is a great story that will keeps readers interested from page one. I enjoyed Astrid's strength and determination throughout the story and how she stood up to the feuding lairds,
MacFadden and Gallagher. Griffin's character to me had a complexity that was not realized until late, which added more depth to the overall story. If you have not read any of Ms. Jordan's titles you are in for a treat, especially avid readers of historical romance.
