Paranormal Romance
Kate Connor's back and she's still juggling marriage,
motherhood and demon-hunting. She's up to her ears in
dinner parties for husband Stuart's political campaign,
his idea to restore and sell expensive homes,
supervising her fourteen year old daughter's
demon-hunting training, wrangling her two year old
toddler, supervising the neighborhood Easter fair and
oh, yes, patrolling for demons. Then there's decisions
to make about what to do about her daughter's
relationship with her father--Kate's deceased first
husband whose soul's in the high school chemistry
teacher's body...and who's helping her with the
demon-hunting...and then there's her own relationship to
David/Eric as well...and she has to find time to tell
Stuart that she's a demon-hunter and that her first
husband is still around, sort of...just the normal
things a Demon-Hunting Soccer mom has to deal
with...then something extra plops on her plate--an old
nemesis and his zombies looking to stir up mayhem and
destruction and the Apocalypse (again)...will Kate be
able to save the world and put on an A-1 neighborhood
Easter party?
DEJA DEMON is the fantastic fourth book in the Days and
Nights of a Demon- Hunting Soccer Mom series...did I
write fantastic, I meant SUPERfantastic! This is one
series that has a little bit of everything in it: the
paranormal, lots of humor, touches of mom-lit, women's
relationships, romance, mystery, suspense, and thrills
and chills...and most of all, it has Julie Kenner's
fabulous voice. DEJA DEMON is somewhat darker than the
previous books in the series...see my interview with
Julie Kenner as to why...There's a heart-breaking death
of a regular...and the final scene in the cemetery is
something else--scary and breathtaking and wow,
especially with the revelations about David/Eric... If
there's one paranormal series that's a must-read, then
the Demon-Hunting Soccer Mom series is it! This reviewer
can't wait until book five to see what happens next,
especially with David/Eric and Stuart!
