Historical Romance

A young girl witnesses the horrifying deaths of her family and the people of her village. She's shot and left for dead. In the aftermath, over the course of several days, she alone buries all of the people she has known and loved. Shedding her bloodied clothing, she ascends into the mountains to begin a new life dedicated solely to vengeance. Along the way, she meets a good man, who names her Blaze, for the jagged scar which traces the bullet's path across her scalp and the shock of white hair which has grown in its place. An unexpected friendship blossoms as a result of the horseman's kindness. Could love not be possible? Blaze's decision is made when she crosses paths with Bane, a half-white, half-Apache man determined to kill the man (his father) for the rape of his mother and his continued evil deeds. United in vengeance, will Blaze and Bane see their destiny fulfilled?

BLAZE OF LIGHTNING, ROAR OF THUNDER is a stunning read! Dark and intense with plenty of action, Ms. Rosburg's fast-paced vivid narrative will leave readers on the edge of their seats to the shocking conclusion. Emotion and passion offer both contrast and balance to the violence and horrors endured by the characters. Blaze and Bane are truly a captivating couple but it is the character of Ring Crossman who stole this reader's heart! I can honestly say that I have never read a historical romance quite like BLAZE OF LIGHTNING, ROAR OF THUNDER and I will not hesitate to put Ms. Rosburg on my "must-read" list. Recommended!
