Paranormal Romance
Thirty years before, Reign and Olivia found a love
that seemed ever-lasting, and decided to share their
remaining days as husband and wife. And then Reign did
the un-thinkable: he bit into his new wife and made her
into an unwilling vampire. Shocked, betrayed and
horrified, Olivia abandoned her husband and learned to
make a new life for herself. And each day, her husband’s
betrayal and memory faded ever so slightly from her
mind.
But freedom from Reign was not to be. When Olivia’s
nephew, James, was kidnapped and the ransom demanded was
that of her estranged husband, Olivia has little choice
but to confront her personal demon. And convincing Reign
to help her save her nephew would be difficult. Conning
a 600 year old vampire is close to impossible.
But Reign has also never forgotten his beloved wife. And
though thirty years has passed, his attraction has not
dimmed. Perhaps this adventure is fortuitous; the time
needed to win back his wife is at hand.
Olivia finds Reign as irresistible as ever, so keeping
him in the dark about the kidnappers wish to trade her
nephew for Reign is difficult. But she will trade him,
won’t she? Reign can surely take care of himself, and
betrayal is fair turn-around…
A fabulous novel! I loved the dynamic between Olivia and
Reign. It was sexy, engaging and thrilling. The story
was wonderfully written and impossible to put down! The
description of vampire life was somewhat generic, but
wonderfully described. I also loved subtle hints as to
other sequels occurring in the background. I am already
intrigued as to the next novel! This is definitely an
author to read if you love vampire stories!
