Romance Suspense
Less than two years ago, Sandra was
happily married to Victor Winslow, a politician who had
it all going for him and the favorite son of a town
named Paradise. Then an accident took his life, and left
Sandra under a dark cloud of suspicion. But she has had
enough. Her only way out of this town she used to love,
is to fix up her Victorian beach house and move away.
When she hires Mike Malloy, she soon realizes that not
only the house needs fixing, and all can be done with
Mike's hands alone. Mike is battling his own demons with
his ex-wife and trying to provide a new life for himself
and his two children, a struggle that Sandra innately
understands. But can she trust a man with unbreakable
ties to this town she so desperately wants to leave? A
man who will rest at nothing until he uncovers her
deepest secrets? Soon, Sandra will have to put her heart
to the test.
PASSING THROUGH PARADISE is a moving romantic story.
Sandra has lost her whole life when she lost her
husband. But no one believes it is an accident and have
already accused her of murder. She is treated horribly
by the towns people, and Victor's parents as well.
Trying not to buckle under the pressure, she turns to an
old house she has inherited and decides to fix it up so
she can afford to start a new life somewhere else. She
loves Paradise, but it has become less than that for her
lately. Mike is a hard working divorced dad who also
found himself on the wrong end of the stick. When he
divorced, his wife took everything from him and married
her lover. He barely gets to see his children, who
remain the rock in his life. Sandra strikes something
inside of him. Something he has never felt before and
when she responds to him, he feels on top of the world.
But will Sandra be able to remove her defenses enough to
love him back? Or will she always hold herself from him?
The ending will rock you as two worlds collide in the
most unexpected way. Susan Wiggs is amazing and believe
me, you will not be able to put this one down.
